Mortgage for foreign citizens in Turkey is now available..!!

You can apply for a mortgage from a Turkish bank for your property in Turkey. You will be able to apply upto 70 percent of the property value evaluated by the banks experts.

Requirements from the bank are quite usual,

1. Proof of income,
2. Current mortgage/loan status at home (if any),
3. 6 months period of bank/tax reports & statements
4. Passport & Photo

After these are handed to the bank including the title deed (tapu) of the property, your mortgage / loan will be pre-approved and at the military approval arrival, property title deed will be issued on to your name and loan amount will be paid to the sellers bank account.
The minimum amount for this mortgage will have to be 30,000 Euros (or equivalent currency), however, there is no maximum limit for the mortgage.

Currently interest rates are 0,58% for Euro and 0,70% for Sterling per month. As other currencies are also available, would need to discuss with the bank.
